๐Ÿ”‹ My battery sat unused for a while โ€” is it still safe?

Check the pack's resting voltage first: a healthy 48V pack reads roughly 39โ€“54.6V. If it looks good, charge it fully and watch for heat or swelling; if a cell is very low, retire it.

Check the resting voltage first (let it rest an hour). For a 48V (13S) pack, healthy is roughly 39โ€“54.6V. If any cell group is under ~3.0V (pack under ~39V), treat it cautiously; under 2.5V per cell, retire it โ€” don't recharge or use it. If the voltage looks healthy, charge it fully, confirm it still holds a strong capacity, and watch for any heat, swelling, or fast self-discharge. Any of those, or a damaged/corroded case โ€” retire the pack. When in doubt, reach out to our Help Center before charging.
