The Parallel Battery Connector Cable lets you run two batteries of the same voltage at once to increase your total amp-hours and range. For example, two 48V 17.5Ah packs give you 35Ah of combined capacity — a serious range boost for long tours.

The two ways to run dual batteries
  • Both on together (recommended). Turn both batteries to the "on" position at the same time so they share the load and power the motor together. This is the simplest, healthiest way to run them.
  • One at a time (sequential). Keep one battery on and the other off. When the first drains, turn it off and switch the second one on.
The one rule you must not break: never switch on a drained battery while a fully charged one is already on and connected. The big voltage difference between them causes current to rush from the full pack into the empty one, which can damage the drained pack's BMS — and it will not usefully equalize the two. So: run both from full together, or swap them sequentially — but never join a near-empty pack to a full one that is powering the bike. Both packs must be the same voltage (two 48V, or two 52V — never a 48V paired with a 52V). Need a second pack? Shop all kits & batteries.
