🚶 How Walk Assist Mode Works

Walk assist is a handy low-speed mode that lets the motor gently push the bike along at a walking pace while you walk beside it — a lifesaver when you are pushing a heavy ebike up a ramp or steep path.

To activate: hold down the minus (−) button on your display. The motor will slowly drive the bike forward at walking speed for as long as you hold the button.

The walk-assist icon looks slightly different on each display — here it is on the C961, 500C, and DPC-18:

Only use walk assist while walking beside the bike, never while seated — it is meant for pushing, not riding.
