⚠️ Error 07 — High Voltage Cut-Off Protection
What it means: The battery is delivering too high a voltage for the system, and the controller has cut power to protect itself.
How to fix it:
- Check your battery voltage. The BBS02 and BBSHD are designed for 48V or 52V packs only. A 48V pack charges to 54.6V full; a 52V pack charges to 58.8V full — both are within range.
- Make sure you are not using a higher-voltage battery (e.g., a 60V or 72V pack) — that will trigger Error 07 and can damage the controller. Swap to a compatible 48V or 52V pack.
- If your battery is a correct 48V/52V pack and you still see Error 07 right off the charger, contact support — a faulty pack or BMS can occasionally over-report voltage.
