๐ง Power Loss โ Troubleshooting Checklist
If your motor suddenly won't power up or cuts out, don't panic โ the cause is almost always a loose battery or connector, and this checklist walks you through it in order. Work through it start to finish.
- Check the battery mount. Confirm the battery is fully seated and locked onto its mount. A partially seated pack is the #1 cause of "no power." (Mount references: Ultra Slim Shark mount, Dolphin mount, Shark mount.)
- Confirm the battery is on. The Ultra Slim Shark has no on/off switch; the Dolphin and the Mini/Jumbo/Whale Shark have a switch or button โ make sure it is in the on position.
- Check the charge level. Hold the battery's indicator button. One red light โ 25%; each additional green light adds about 25%. If it is dead, charge it.
- Inspect every connection (battery removed).
- Reinstall and lock the battery back onto the mount.
- Turn the battery back on (per step 2).
- Power up the display and motor. If your display shows a specific error code, jump to that error's article below. Refer to your display manual (C961, 500C, or DPC-18) for power-on steps.
