We want you to end up with gear you're happy with, and we'll work with you on a return when something isn't the right fit. Here's exactly how it works so there are no gray areas.

The window
Returns must be started within 30 days of the day you placed your order. After 30 days we can't accept a return.
Get written authorization first
Before you ship anything back, request and receive written approval through our returns portal at ebikessentials.returnscenter.com. This is required — returns sent without authorization can't be refunded, and we'd hate for a package to arrive that we can't process.
Condition matters
Items must be brand new, unused, and in their original packaging. Anything that's been installed, shows visible wear or damage, or has mismatched serial numbers isn't eligible. We check that the serial numbers on the returned item match your original order, so please send back exactly what you received.
Restocking fees
Returns carry a restocking fee based on the item's value:
- Under $25 — $5
- $25–$100 — $10
- Over $100 — 10% of the item total
- Chainrings — $10 each
- Motors — $35 each
Return shipping
You cover return shipping, and both original and return shipping costs are non-refundable. We recommend a trackable, insured method — until it's back with us and inspected, the item is your responsibility.
Approved refunds are issued after we receive and inspect the item; depending on your bank, it can take up to about 14 business days to post back to your card.
Is my return eligible?
